Where to Eat in OKC: The Gilded Acorn

Hey, friends. Okay, I tried a new thing today.

The Gilded Acorn in Oklahoma City Downtown is inside the National Hotel. It is so cute there.

I'm super-duper into this forest green trend that's going on right now and the chairs and the floors and the tile on the countertop where you go to order, are so cute.

The pastries are amazing. You have tons of choices. I got the almond croissant really, really yummy. Breakfast options are great. I got the smoked Turkey Eggs Benedict, and it was on a croissant. How fun is that? It was pretty dang delicious. I think I'd like to try the steak next time.

Got a London Fog tea. Really enjoyed it. My friend Amy got a chocolate Cruffin, which looked delicious. They have a whole champagne menu as well, so we had to have a mimosa because why wouldn't you?

You need to go, and then you can walk around and go visit plenty inside the hotel. There's a fabulous one, is it called Lucchese? I'm probably saying it wrong. A boot maker. There's a saddle maker coming in. We might have had to take a little selfie in front of the giant heart that was set up in Teller's.

If you haven't stayed at the National or gone to any of the restaurants, you absolutely must go. It is such a fun experience. You're going to love it. You need to try it.
