Where to Eat: Victoria’s Pasta Shop

Victoria’s Pasta Shop in Norman is one of our favorites. When Clayton and I were dating in college this was one of our go-to spots for lunch and dinner.

It was located on White Street on Campus Corner for thirty years. Victoria’s has always been the most wonderful warm spot in our hearts to carb load. They make their own pasta and it is extra special in texture and taste. The spaghetti is especially my favorite and it’s a tiny bit on the al dente side.

What to order:

Cheese bread! It comes with two pieces or four pieces. You can have Alfredo sauce or marinara sauce. We like the marinara sauce on the side. The big fresh chunks of tomatoes! Yum! We always get the two piece order.

Lasagna rolls! They are their own special combination of probably 5 pounds of mozzarella cheese, shrimp, spinach all rolled up in a lasagna noodle and then baked. Then when it is finished they add more mozzarella, parmesan cheese, marinara and alfredo sauce on top. Oh my goodness! It is heaven! You will have to be rolled out of the restaurant. It is worth it! Roll on!

Here is a tip. Ask them to “leave the wings on.” When it bakes in the oven it gets the perfect crispy and almost burnt cheese on the edges. You want all of that on your plate. And you sound like an insider in the know.

They have delicious house dressing on their house salad and they have an awesome caesar salad too. If you feel the need to balance the carbs and cheese with a little something green.

Favorite spot for a day date! Photo op in front of the original sign.

Their new location on Main Street downtown is so charming! And they still have the old sign from the original location on the wall. You can see it behind us in the photo. There is parking in the back and you can walk-in or you can park on the street. Victoria’s also has a location in south OKC on SW 104th and May by the Crest Grocery.

The Original Victoria’s Pasta Shop

Many a date night in college and quick road trip back to Norman spent right here. ❤️

Watch the video above for a little sneak peak I took at Christmas time of the new Main Street location in Norman.
