Where to Eat: Twisted Tree Baking Company

Hey friends! I have a must-try spot for you in Edmond, the Twisted Tree Baking Company. It's off of Broadway in Downtown Edmond between Campbell and Herd. Really way too close to my office, which is really dangerous.

It's been open, I don't know, for about six months now. I kind of waited because when they first opened, they would sell out of everything before I even got a chance to get in there. So, I timed it really well, they still had pastries today, kind of picked over, but they have fresh bread like daily, which is amazing. I probably should have left with the baguette I'm kind of sad. I probably should turn around and go get one. But I got milk, bread, and sourdough, so they have regular sourdough and this one, but supposedly this one is softer.

So, we're going to go home and try this later. And I got my first, what's it called? A cruffin. I have finally had a cruffin. We keep merging these words like shacket, and whatever else is out there these days, but cruffin. I might've already eaten a whole bunch of it. It was so pretty delicious! Like flaky, fabulous, like a croissant, and covered in sugar and delish. And then, I also got a sausage cheese breakfast pastry. All the flakiness is falling all over me, that means it's really good, right?

So, you need to go. It's so cute inside. I'm obsessed with the blue wall, with their logo on it. It's fabulous. And they have merch, because who doesn't need merch from a European-inspired bakery? I think I do. Need to go back for that, baguettes, that, and try every single other thing in there.

They had scones and they have croissants. Their menu is online and it all looks fabulous. They also have coffee, soda, and juice, so you must go, and try it, right away. You're absolutely going to love it.

I think they close at like 2:00, so you need to get over there early enough to grab your fresh bread for dinner and tell me what your favorite thing is because I need to go back and try more things. You must go visit, Twisted Tree Baking Company. Put it on your list.
