Where to Eat in OKC: Nunu’s Mediterranean Cafe

You must try Nunu’s Mediterranean Cafe! My sister-in-law Amy went with me for a quick lunch. She is my other food adventure friend. So find your food adventure friends, and go get yourself some Nunu's. It's off of Memorial between May and Portland and it's been here a long time and it's perfection. So if you love Mediterranean food from the Lebanese perspective, then you totally need to go.

In May, so at the beginning of the month, they put all of their pots and planters in the front with beautiful flowers on their patio. It's my fav! I look forward to that moment every year. I get a little sad when I come in the winter and it's not beautiful flower time. You must sit on the patio and enjoy the pretty flowers.

The food is amazing! I'm a big fan of the sampler plate because you get a little bit of everything to try. Today is Thursday and on Thursday their special is the beef tips with green beans and this yummy savory tomato sauce over rice, and it's magic. It's just magic!

If you ever go to St. Elijah's Food Festival, it is the same green bean dish that they serve there. How fantastic! You don't have to wait until just November to get the yummy, yummy green bean tomato dish. You can get it whenever you want. The meat is so tender. It's classic comfort food.

I have to get hummus and pita every time. They have the best pita chips too, by the way, and they sell bags of them, so you can take them with you. Yes!

I also had a beautiful Greek salad today. Really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I should probably eat there every day out of the week, just so I can have all the things on the menu. You also have to get the Lebanese lemonade because it's the best lemonade ever. So go to Nunu's. If you haven't been, you need to go try it. They have a hopping lunch crowd. So sometimes it's good if you get there a little bit early and they do tons of takeout too.

Everyone loves it because it's incredible. So go check out Nunu’s , you're going to love it. I promise.
