Where to Eat in OKC/Edmond: K•Chick

I have a new spot that you must try in Oklahoma City. K-Chick, Korean fried chicken. It's off of Western and just north of Second Street, in that whole shopping center where Louie’s and the Sushi Bar are located. End-to-end two restaurants, and in the middle sits K-Chick, and it's yummy.

I have tried some other Korean fried chicken places, and this one beats for sure any of the others.

We tried several choices. I got the Creamy Onion Bone-In Wings. Really kind of fun. Throw the onions on there. They pour on the creamy garlic sauce. It's got some sweet and tangy. It's really good. I got the regular, just the original chicken wings. We tried several sauces. They have a sweet honey something, or other. That one was yummy.

We all would have liked to have had a little ranch. I guess that's super Oklahoma in us, that we wanted ranch with our wings. Is that wrong? But the crispiness was good. These are generous pieces of chicken too. They're not just baby wimpy pieces. They're really big ones.

So you must go and try it and get Coke in the can. There's K-pop music playing over the speakers and fun videos. I was a huge fan of that. Super into it. One of them I had to Shazam because I needed to listen to it again, although I'm not a teenager, I loved this song.

So, go try it. I think you're going to like it. It's not a super big space. It's kind of small, so if you want to get takeout, totally do that. But they have boneless wings as an option if that can even be called a wing. That's up for debate. I think it's worthy of a try, double-fried chicken, you just can't go wrong.
