Where to Eat in Edmond: Fried Taco

Hey friends.

Okay, so my friend Amy and I went back to The Icehouse Project to try the Fried Taco. And it was yummy. I'm going to say that their ground beef taco was the winner. The shell is super crispy and yummy. There's all this sour cream in there and shredded cheese and the ground beef was perfect. That was my favorite. I also got the jerk chicken taco. That was pretty darn good with mango salsa. I love mango salsa and it had a lot of heat. I'm not going to lie, it's a little spicy. When I go back, I'm getting another ground beef taco and I'm trying the empanadas because the lady who checked us out said we totally need to try that and we didn't get them. Amy and I also tried two of the lemonades. One was like lavender, that was the purple one. And then the other one was like a coconut mango, so really yummy. I love lemonade, that was really fun. And because I'm obsessed with spicy margaritas, I had to get their jalapeno pineapple margarita. Even though it was lunchtime because I just felt like I needed to do that to really understand how good it was. It was yum, the perfect amount of spice, super fun spicy dusted edge. I'm a fan and I think it would be fantastic to enjoy it on their beautiful patio.

And they had all these little cute plants and succulents or some sort of plant on all their tables. So I'm thinking that you need to go, you need to order, you need to sit on the patio, then you need to go back and you need to go eat at Woodward or do it at the same time. That could be brilliant. Somebody could get Woodward Pizza, you could get the Fried Taco and then everybody could share. I think that's a good plan.

I also heard there is a fun dairy concept coming into the Icehouse. That might be the baby of the developers. I don't know if that's true or not. I'm guessing ice cream and maybe some other fun things. I don't know. What other things are dairy-related? That's coming out too. So I'm going to keep watching in the Icehouse. I'm waiting for the coffee shop to open and what other fun things are coming in.

So go try it. You're going to like it.
