Where to eat in OKC: Syrup

Okay, I have a "must-try" or "definitely go revisit" option in Oklahoma City for you.

Syrup is so yummy. On the 23rd... Okay, I regretfully have not been here in a long time. I feel like I came when they first opened, then we had the pandemic, and I never came back. And I'm really sad because they have the most fun coffee menu anywhere with the cutest names of the options. They also have a special one for February. One of them was called a Ski Lift. How cute is that? I had a really hard time deciding which one to pick. I got a Bahama Breeze, which was coconut milk, vanilla, and cayenne. So it had a fun, spicy kick to it. I was a big fan, and I would totally get that again. But then that would mean I couldn't try all their other super fun choices. So I will definitely be going back for more coffee options.

I got the Home Sweet Homa as my breakfast option. Delish. I really love a pancake when it is just sweet enough that you don't need syrup. So that is the way I went. And crispy bacon—extra, extra crispy bacon. I had the potatoes, and I got eggs with them. I just wanted a little bit of everything. They have tons of gluten-free options, which is awesome, and I know it's sometimes hard to find them for breakfast.

I totally think you need to go and take a friend. I, of course, took Amy, my food adventure friend. We have to go try new things together. We had to talk about all the things. Raising teenagers is typically one of our hot topics. The struggle is real.

So go to Syrup. If you go, what is your favorite coffee or meal? Because I feel like I needed some foodie guidance today, I want to pick the very best thing, and there were a million phenomenal choices. So I'm going back, and I think you need to go try it. And I am certain that you'll love it.
