Where to Eat in OKC: Snow Pea

A Timeless Classic: Snow Pea

Sad news! The Snow Pea on Western has closed and a new restaurant is coming into that space. More info soon!

Hey there, foodies!

If you're on the hunt for an incredible Chinese food spot, I've got an oldie but a goodie recommendation that you must try: Snow Pea! Trust me, this place is a hidden gem that you don’t want to miss out on.

Location and Legacy

Located on Western Avenue just north of 63rd, Snow Pea has been a staple in the community for what feels like forever. This spot holds a special place in the hearts of many locals, including myself. Back in high school, it was our go-to lunch destination. There’s something comforting about a place that hasn’t changed—especially when it’s consistently great!

My Go-To Dish: Charbroiled Lemon Chicken

Whenever I visit, I always order the same thing—because when you find something this good, why switch it up? My go-to dish is L2 on the menu: Charbroiled Lemon Chicken with Veggies. You can choose to have it with a light, clear sauce, or get the veggies steamed. Personally, I love them steamed—it’s such a fresh and flavorful option. And let me tell you, the chicken is the best I’ve ever had. It’s tender, juicy, and packed with flavor!

Exploring the Menu

Of course, there’s many more options to explore at Snow Pea. From classic favorites like Kung Pao Chicken and Beef with Broccoli to more unique offerings, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re a fan of fresh ingredients and bold flavors, you’re in for a treat.

Are You a Snow Pea Fan Too?

If you haven’t tried it yet, consider this your sign—it’s an absolute must-try!

Don't Wait, Go Now!

Don’t just take my word for it. Run! Don’t walk. Treat yourself to some delicious Chinese food at Snow Pea and your taste buds will thank you!

Happy eating! 🌟
