Where to Eat in Edmond: Zambrano’s Peruvian Flavors!

If you’re looking for your next delicious adventure in Edmond, let me put something bold and unforgettable on your radar. Zambrano’s isn’t just another place to grab dinner, it’s the kind of spot that reminds you why exploring local restaurants is so much fun. Peruvian flavors, cozy atmosphere, and plates that make you stop talking mid-bite because, wow. This one hits different.

Hidden Peruvian Gem

Tucked right off Fretz and Second, just a few minutes from downtown Edmond, Zambrano’s gives you that warm, tucked-away neighborhood feel with a twist of Peruvian flair. The vibrant mural on the wall pulls you in, and the little goodies for sale in the entry make you feel like you’ve stepped into a tiny corner of Peru right here at home.

Now let’s talk food, because that’s where this place truly shines. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, a classic Peruvian beef dish, and it was the kind of meal that makes you plan your next visit halfway through your first. Tender steak, grilled onions, bell peppers, rice, a rich savory sauce, and yes, french fries mixed right in. It’s comfort food with personality, and it absolutely delivers. My friend tried the Arroz con Mariscos, the Peruvian spin on paella, and every bite looked like a celebration on a plate.

For starters, do yourself a favor and order the Papa Rellena. It's a fried mashed potato stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat, crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It’s one of those things you take a bite of and instantly think, oh, we’re coming back here.

And you can’t leave without a Pisco Sour. It’s bright, refreshing, a little citrusy, and the kind of cocktail that pairs beautifully with rich, vibrant Peruvian dishes. Think of it as a perk of saying yes to a new dining experience.

So if you want a spot that feels fresh, fun, and full of flavor, make your way to Zambrano’s. Go with friends, go for date night, or go just because you deserve a meal that makes you smile. You’ll love it, and you’ll absolutely go back.
