Where to Eat in Edmond: Inspirations Tea Room

Hey, friends. Okay, a must-eat spot in Edmond, Inspirations Tea Room.

It's so good. My sweet friend, Kelly, agreed to go to lunch here today. It's one of our spots we like to meet.  I don't get to treat myself to going here very often but I don't know why. I need to. Okay, scones. I mean, who else is obsessed with scones? Also, underappreciated and underserved places, but they have the most magical lemon curd…take a bath in it, delicious lemon curd. So you must have a scone with a side of lemon curd while you're there. I got the Quiche Trio for lunch today, and it comes with lots of things. I felt like maybe I was ordering for five minutes because you get a cup of soup, you get a little salad, you get a slice of quiche, you get a scone because you have to have a scone. You can get iced tea or hot tea.  I love the ritual of getting your own little pot. So of course, I had hot tea. And you get a dessert. I mean, that's a lot of food. So of course, I didn't finish everything except the scone. Because scones, I mean, come on. But it is a really yummy choice. They serve breakfast and lunch and they have so many gifts inside, the cutest little kids section of books and little devotionals. And then they have baby clothing and baby gifts all in this little area, right before you step out into... What do they call it? It's like an atrium. That's not right. They have a sunroom. They have a sunroom where you can also eat. So we got to eat in the sunroom today, which I loved. And it's warm still, even on a cold day. So that's good.  It looks out over a great big patio, which would be so lovely when the weather is nice. I have to remember to eat there outside when things get warmer this spring. They also have their own line of teas and olive oils and balsamic vinegars called Teaoli, which apparently has been around since 2010. So you can go in there and pick any one of their wonderful teas. I'm a total tea person, so I love it.

So you need to go try it.  Inspirations has been around for a long time but if you're wanting a fun experience, it's a great girlfriend lunch spot or a fun place to take your kids. They do a whole tea service. So you can have a tea party with the little cucumber sandwiches and chicken salad with little desserts. So go enjoy it. Let me know how the scones changed your life, and the lemon curd.

You're going to love it, I promise.
