Where to Eat in OKC: Waffle Champion

Hi, friends! Breakfast is one of my favorite meals! If you have not been, you really must go to Waffle Champion. Like, right away!

I get the chicken and waffles because it comes with fried leeks. I got extra fried leeks on the side because they're magical and delicious, and it makes me think of the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs with the leek and the boat joke, which just delights my heart.

Clayton, got the classic egg, cheese, and bacon.  Now, this is in Midtown, on Walker, 1212 North Walker, and they're open Tuesday through Saturday in the mornings. They'll probably close a little bit after lunchtime maybe. I don't know exactly, you should just Google that.

And a fun thing is they have a window where you can get after-hours waffles until midnight. You walk up to the window, and you can eat on the porch.  Clayton has had many of a porch window-pickup waffle and has eaten them in his car while working.

Clayton has lots of love for this place to bring the wife to Midtown for breakfast. So try it, you're going to love it.
