What to Do in OKC: OKC’s Greek Fest

Celebrating at the OKC Greek Festival! 🇬🇷✨

Hey everyone! If you're looking for a lively and delicious way to spend a day in October, then you have to check out the OKC Greek Festival. It's a fun-filled event at St. George’s in Oklahoma City that you won't want to miss. Here's a taste of our fantastic experience at this year's festival!

A Feast for the Senses

The OKC Greek Festival is all about indulging in mouthwatering Greek cuisine. We decided to go all out and got a variety box filled with all the baked goodies that we could hardly pronounce but absolutely loved. Here are some of the highlights:

Gyros: We had the classic gyro, packed with juicy meat, fresh veggies, and tangy tzatziki sauce. It was perfection in a pita!

Souvlaki: These little pork sticks were tender and flavorful, a definite must-try.

Loukoumades: Imagine bite-sized doughnuts, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. These were heavenly!

Fried Cheese: Yes, you read that right. Fried cheese, or saganaki, was a showstopper with its crispy exterior and gooey, melty inside.

Fun and Festivities

The festival isn’t just about food; it’s a full cultural experience. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, from the vibrant music and dancing to the beautiful displays of Greek culture.

We even did a bit of shopping and picked up some gorgeous jewelry. It was the perfect way to remember our amazing day.
