Team Research or Team Just Buy It?

This vacuum purchase perfectly sums up the difference between Clayton and me.

I can research just about anything forever. I'll read reviews, compare models, watch videos, and convince myself I need just a little more information before making a decision.

Clayton watched one three minute video and was ready to buy it.

If the decision had been completely up to me, there's a good chance we'd still be vacuum shopping six months from now. Thankfully, Clayton is Team Just Buy It, because our floors have never looked better.

The Purchase I Didn't Know I'd Be So Excited About

I wasn't looking for a new vacuum.

At least that's what I told myself.

You know how it goes. You see someone using something online, think, "That actually looks pretty good," and suddenly you're down a rabbit hole reading reviews and convincing yourself it will somehow change your life.

Well, this vacuum hasn't changed my life, but it has definitely changed my floors.

The first time I used it, I immediately noticed how much easier it was than my old one. It picked up everything, moved around so easily, and somehow made cleaning feel less like a chore.

If you had told me a year ago I'd be writing a blog post about a vacuum, I would have laughed.

But if you've ever found something that makes everyday life just a little easier, you get it.

And honestly, there's something satisfying about seeing those vacuum lines on the carpet and knowing the house is officially reset.

Was It Worth It?

For me, absolutely.

I never thought I'd become someone who talks about a vacuum this much, but apparently this is who I am now.

The older I get, the more I appreciate things that make everyday life a little easier. And this one has definitely earned its spot in our house.

Now the real question:

Are you Team Research and reading every review before you buy?

Or are you Team Just Buy It like Clayton?

Because if we're being honest, if I had been left in charge of this decision, we'd probably still be vacuum shopping.
