Where to Shop in OKC: Winter House
If you are looking for great interior design options, head to Winter House in Nichols Hills Plaza; It's right by Trader Joe's. You need to go in and talk to Lisa because she's fabulous and gives great suggestions. They have so many furniture options, including some custom-made. Sometimes you can even get a great deal, which is fun. You can sometimes get a percentage off depending on what and how much you're ordering.
I've always loved Winter House even back when they were in North Park Mall. They have things for every budget. On occasion, I'll pick up a fabulous vase and go, "Oh, this is actually reasonable," which is refreshing. It's not like, "Hey, that's a $1,200 lamp." They actually have a couple of lamps that I’m pretty sure I need.
They also have bar stools and chairs. I'm obsessed with the swivel and rocking chairs. I know I don't have tiny babies, but I want all my chairs to swivel and rock. Is that just me? Is that just strange? It feels super comforting to get to wiggle in your chair. I just found some really cute chairs that are actually quite reasonable.
