Best Life OKC Road Trip Edition: EISCHEN’S

Hey. Okay. We have a must-visit spot. It's our road trip edition.

Eischen's Chicken: best-fried chicken out there.

You buy it with the whole chicken. The menu is super simple. Sophie's, kind of, a fan of the chili cheese nachos. Sam might have had a Frito chili pie. It's okra. It's white bread, pickles, sweet ones and dill, onions, and then your chicken. So yummy.

You need to take a drive to Okarche to get your chicken at Oklahoma's oldest bar. You can even call ahead and say you're on your way if you want to cut down on the time it takes to get your fried chicken, but they're always really fast. And they're so friendly. It's great for big groups because we like to go to birthday parties. Always my dad's birthday. He loves it, so it's a good excuse to come.

On your way out of town, you need to stop at the Tower Cafe and get some cinnamon rolls because they're famous for their Okarche Tower Cafe cinnamon rolls. They make them in large quantities. If you want to get them, you can even call and say, "Hey, I need 20 dozen cinnamon rolls," and they'll prepare them for you. I might have made that phone call before. Okay. Come try it. The Sergeants love it, and we promise that you will, too. It's worth the drive. Do it.
