A Spot We've Been Coming Back To for Years
We stopped by Abel's Mexican Restaurant for lunch the other day, and it made me realize just how long we've been coming here.
We were trying to figure it out while we were eating, and I think it's been close to 20 years. Back when the kids were still in high chairs... actually, even before we had kids.
It's funny how some restaurants become part of your life without you even realizing it. Before kids, with little kids, and now. Somehow we've just kept coming back.
A Lunch We Always Enjoy
We usually keep our order pretty simple.
We'll share the guacamole salad, and always order the tacos cavillo! There are five tacos and we are always able to split those. I usually have two and I always look forward to the grilled jalapeños and peppers that come with the meal. They're probably my favorite part!
This time I also noticed they have margaritas now, which somehow I had never realized before.
